Below is a list of currently confirmed Ciders that will be at the Winter Cider Festival 2012. Enjoy...

 

    Ciders

C1 - PUCK’s TRADITIONAL FARMHOUSE DRY 6-7% Pucklechurch Village

This is a traditional farmhouse dry cider. Unmistakable smell of fresh apples. Clean and crisp and very refreshing. It is Ideal for quenching a thirst after a day in the fields. If this is a bit too dry for your taste the classic way is to have it with a “lemon top” (a dash of lemonade). Try it... It’s lush!

 

 

C2 - PUCK’s TRADITIONAL FARMHOUSE MEDIUM-DRY 6-7% Pucklechurch Village

A medium-dry version of the Traditional Farmhouse Dry. The slightly increased sweetness brings out the apples more but still retains the clean and crisp taste of the Farmhouse Dry. A good quaffing cider!

 

 

C3 - PUCK KNOWS MEDIUM 6-7% Pucklechurch Village

This is a medium dry cider with a zesty apple taste and subtle highlights of summer flowers. Can you tell what they are? If you want to find out ask Puck, he knows.!

 

 

 

C4 - PUCK’s FALLING DOWN WATER DRY 7-8% Pucklechurch Village

A strong, medium-dry cider created by a second fermentation.  Good apple smells and flavours coming through.  It is an easy drinking cider with deceptively light flavour so watch out - it creeps up on you!

 

 

C5 - PUCK’s FALLING DOWN WATER MEDIUM DRY 7-8% Pucklechurch Village

A strong, medium-dry cider with good apple smells and flavours coming through. Beware, it is not called falling down water for nothing!

 

 

 

C6 - PUCK’s STRONG VINTAGE MEDIUM DRY 7-8% Pucklechurch Village

A crisp clear cider full of summer zest.  It is an easy drinking cider with deceptively light flavour so watch out - it creeps up on you!

 

 

 

C7 - WYE CIDER CAMA SILVER MEDAL 2009 6.6% - Medium - Orchards

A blend of red fruits, creating a smooth cider with a good apple flavour and nose. This medium dry cider has won many awards..

 

 

 

C8 - PERRY 7.5% - Broadoak Distribution

Sweet but incredibly refreshing perry with a glorious fresh-tasting pear flavour and a wonderful pear aroma.

 

 

C9 - KINGSTON BLACK 7.5% - Dry rough filtered - Broadoak Distribution

A single variety cider made from the Kingston Black apple making a dry copper coloured cider

 

 

 

C10 - JANET'S JUNGLE JUICE 6.0% - Medium -  Moles

For all of you who read the Independent newspaper you will remember them saying "Somerset cider apples produce a fresh nose of roses and ripe fruit, hinting at pineapple, apples and bananas" and who would argue?

 

 

C11 - BLACK RAT TRADITIONAL 6.0% - Medium - Moles

The cider is unpasteurised to maintain the original flavour, giving Black Rat its fresh apple aroma, smooth taste, crisp clean finish and bright, lightly sparkling appearance. In
summary, a full flavored cider

 

 

C12 - BLACK RAT PERRY7.5% - Medium Sweet - Moles

The cider is unpasteurised to maintain the original flavour, giving Black Rat its fresh apple aroma, smooth taste, crisp clean finish and bright, lightly sparkling appearance. In
summary, a full flavored cider

 

 

C13 - DOG DANCER 6.5% - Medium Dry - Gwent y Ddraig

 

Produced from bittersweet cider apples blended with a true sharp cider apple, it is a light straw coloured cider with a medium dry, smooth, crisp, slightly sharp characteristic.

 

 

C14 - HAPPY DAZE 4.5% - Medium - Gwent y Ddraig

 

A new cider in their range, fruity, apply aroma, well balanced finish. A light and very easy to drink medium cider.
